Born in South
Eastern MN, Joshua Norton is a printmaker and painter
who has rambled across the midwest collecting ideas
and techniques along the way. He earned his BFA in studio
arts from the University of Wisconsin Stout in 2001
and co-founded the Burning
Artist Co-op that same year.
J. Norton's current body of work deals with the forces
behind human elements (ie. lust, power chaos etc). He
is also working on a series of collaborative paintings
with twin brother Noah. |
