the Artist
Giacomo Brunelli was born in Perugia, Italy in 1977, where he currently
lives. He graduated with a degree in international communication.
This photographic series came to fruition through Giacomo's
desire to describe shared experience between animals and humans in
the natural environment. Most of the photographs are set in Umbria,
a region in the center of Italy. Giacomo wakes early in the morning
and drives his car until he discovers something that moves
him. He feels that the animal is a fantastic combination of both perfection
of shape and freedom of action and that photography is the appropriate
medium by which to record that sentiment.
