Megan Baker is what they decided to call me when I was born fifteen years ago. I currently reside in central Illinois, against my will. I've been interested in photography for as long as I can remember, but became more focused when I joined 4-H six years ago. I've since quit 4-H but the passion for photography carries on. I choose to photograph abandoned houses because they are a large part of our lives. We live there, eat there and sleep there. People move on, but a house can't. Once abandoned, the houses decay as if in solitude. My photos epitomize a house or building as a living, feeling being. Upcoming Exhibitions |
